AI-Powered SLP: Mastering Ethical Prompts for Better Outcomes

AI is becoming integrated into all aspects of speech-language pathology, and SLPs must learn how this tool enhances their practice. This session will cover AI prompt development and provide 25 ready-to-use prompts. Through examples and case studies, participants will learn to write prompts that personalize therapy, streamline workload tasks, and uphold ethical standards in SLP practice.

In this revised text, the High-Leverage Practices for Students with Disabilities (2nd Edition) are revised and updated to reflect the challenges of modern classrooms. A core addition is interpretation and analysis of how the HLPs work together (as compared to individual, standalone practices), and alongside evidence-based practices to improve teacher practice and student outcomes. Authors also introduce the terms pillar and embedded HLPs.
